The Coffeepot homes are not your usual short term rentals. Historic maps will show they were built in the late 1800s, when South Side was a thriving, internationally-recognized hub for glassmaking. Complete renovations in 2022 and 2023 gave these homes new life: Now they feature high-end appliances and professionally decorated spaces to enhance your urban lifestyle. 

The same, but also different.

The inside layout of these two homes is nearly identical, but their personalities are a bit different. Each features a large master bedroom with king-sized bed, a second bedroom with twin bed, and a third floor workspace with desks for two. And just in case you need it, the third floor workspace in each home also includes an additional twin-sized nap bed. Full bathrooms on the second floor are supplemented by half bathrooms in the basements, and each unit has its own brand-new, full-sized washer and dryer.

The front door opens into a welcoming front room with trendy decor, comfortable seating, and a Roku-enabled smart TV.

Stylish kitchens feature custom quartz countertops with island seating for 4. And stainless steel appliances, including a full-sized refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and induction cooktop, are ready for your use. New custom cabinetry contains all the hand-selected cookware, serveware, drinkware, and place settings you'll need to prepare and serve your favorite meals.

At the end of the day, crisp, snow-white quality linens invite you to relax in the comfort of your own private refuge.

The location of the Coffeepot Duplex is hard to beat. It's located on 9th Street, near the PJ McArdle Roadway. Immediate access to the 10th Street Bridge connects you in moments to the campus of Duquesne University and UPMC Mercy Hospital. And you're two minutes away from the spot where the Liberty Bridge meets the Liberty Tunnels, giving you rapid access to either downtown Pittsburgh or the South Hills.

The South Side Flats neighborhood of Pittsburgh is a popular hub for nightlife, restaurants, and university student hangouts -- and the Coffeepot Duplex is tucked into a residential area that doesn't get noisy. Street parking is pretty easy (and in some cases, garage parking may be available, too!).
